Merry Christmas

It may be cold and rainy outside, but you would never guess it by the giggles and cheer inside the house this morning. We have had showers, breakfast, stockings and gifts. I am playing with a few of the pictures I took this morning. The kids have completed their Lego Sets that they got from Santa. Patrick has already used his iTunes gift card to purchase Angry Birds Star Wars and Bad Piggies. Alison is planning her Kindle purchase and what books she wants to buy for it.

Merry Christmas and Lots of Love,

Holly is Totally Awesome Day

I am so blessed to have a wonderful family and great friends. This year my birthday was the day before Thanksgiving. I rarely get flowers for it, but my little sister went all out this year.

This year I wanted to hang out with out friends in my favorite place in the world, our patio. We pulled out the turkey fryers and all of our dutch ovens. We tried a few different recipes and fixed up 16 dozen shrimp and 2 red fish.

I even had a banner for my day, Thank you Shawn.
Thank you Craig for planning and prepping all of the food. I think you are pretty awesome too.

Another beautiful weekend camping. It is hard to believe that it is November. The weather was great. A bit warm, but very nice at night. I love the chance to spend time outside with the kids.

Halloween Camp Out 2012

My friend Christine and I camped out to get our reservations for this camp out last January 1st. We got the two camp sites that we wanted. We had 7 families this year. It was a little chilly at night, but the days were gorgeous.

All girl hike.

Alison and Jessie looked for places that Fairies might hide.

Our Super Hero line up.

We grabbed a neighbor from another campsite to grab this shot, we are missing a few of the adults though.

Roller skating at the camp site. Alison borrowed skates from Jessie,
she has asked for a pair of skates every day since.

D1 and D2.

Camp Fire Bloopers.

The girl trailer for the trick or treat hay ride.

The Boy Trailer.

Sunday morning leftover breakfast hash.
